Trump Cancels Second Strike Wave After Venezuela's Cooperation

President Donald Trump said Venezuela is releasing large numbers of political prisoners, calling the move a gesture of peace as U.S. Venezuela cooperation improves, according to a post on Truth Social.

Trump said talks between the two countries are progressing, particularly on rebuilding Venezuela’s oil and gas infrastructure.

He announced the cancellation of a previously expected second wave of attacks, though U.S. ships will remain in place for security reasons.

Trump added that major oil companies plan to invest at least $100 billion and said he would meet industry leaders at the White House.
