Asked Friday about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein, President Donald Trump named former President Bill Clinton and economist Larry Summers. “You ought to be talking about Larry Summers… or Bill Clinton, who went to the island 28 times. I never went to the island,” Trump told reporters, referencing Epstein’s private Caribbean estate at the center of sex trafficking allegations.

Trump also claimed that the letter published in The Wall Street Journal, allegedly linking him to Epstein, was “fake.”

While Clinton has acknowledged limited interactions with Epstein, his office denies visiting the island. Summers, a former Treasury Secretary and Harvard president, has also faced questions about his ties to Epstein but denies wrongdoing.
