President Donald Trump launched a scathing attack on Forbes magazine and journalist Dan Alexander in a Truth Social post on Monday, accusing the publication of spreading falsehoods and calling it “a bad disease.”
Trump dismissed Alexander as a “terribly untalented writer” and claimed Forbes was “failing” and owned by “a hostile nation,” though he did not provide evidence for the allegation. “I haven’t spoken to these sleazebags in years,” Trump wrote, adding that Forbes is “so inaccurate (purposely!) about everything.”

The president, who has long had a combative relationship with the media, alleged that Forbes “doesn’t even try to get things right” and predicted the publication would eventually die like others he claimed have failed due to “bad reporters with evil intentions.”
The post did not specify which article triggered the remarks, but Alexander has authored multiple investigations into Trump’s finances in recent years.
