Trump: I’m Not a ‘Drawing Person,’ Epstein Furor Is Fake

U.S. President Donald Trump

President Donald Trump dismissed renewed scrutiny over his past ties to Jeffrey Epstein, calling the controversy a “hoax” and claiming he’s not “overly interested” in the matter.

Speaking about reports that his name may appear in Epstein-related files, Trump blamed Democrats and suggested enemies could have planted fake material. “Those files were run by the worst scum on earth,” he said, insisting that if any damaging information existed, it would have surfaced before the election.

In response to a Wall Street Journal report that he once drew a nude woman in a lewd birthday note for Epstein, Trump denied it outright. “I don’t do drawings,” he said. “I’m not a drawing person.”

Trump also claimed his poll numbers have risen by 4.5 points since the Epstein story re-emerged, saying “people don’t buy it.”
