Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is resigning from her role in President Donald Trump’s administration, according to CNN.

The report said Gabbard informed associates that her decision was driven by her husband’s battle with cancer.

Sources told CNN that she has already notified President Trump of her resignation. The White House and Gabbard’s office had not publicly commented at the time of reporting.
