Trump Issues Fresh Warning To Iran As Oil Prices Rise

President Donald Trump warned that the United States would strike an Iranian bridge or power plant each time Iran attacks a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, according to the report.

In a Truth Social post, Trump said the targets could include infrastructure in Tehran, escalating tensions after the collapse of the U.S.-Iran ceasefire and continued military exchanges.

According to the report, Iran responded by warning it would target U.S.-linked infrastructure and energy facilities across the region if Washington carried out the threatened strikes. Iranian officials also reiterated their claim that they should control passage through the Strait of Hormuz.

The report said Secretary of State Marco Rubio accused Tehran of failing to negotiate in good faith while insisting the United States remains committed to a diplomatic resolution. He argued that no country should control an international waterway or threaten global shipping.

Meanwhile, U.S. Central Command continued military operations against Iranian targets for an 11th consecutive night. Oil prices climbed sharply as concerns over energy supplies and shipping disruptions intensified.
