President Donald Trump will launch America Prays today at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., tying the initiative to the nation’s 250th birthday. The program urges Americans to dedicate weekly time to prayer and to gather in groups of at least 10, reaffirming the principle of “one nation under God.”

White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers told Fox News Digital that the president has “revived one of America’s most prominent and powerful founding principles.”

Trump first previewed the effort in July at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, during the kickoff of America250, the official celebration of the nation’s semiquincentennial.

Faith leaders have welcomed the initiative. Franklin Graham called prayer America’s greatest strength, while Pastor Clint Pressley described it as a public testimony of reliance on God.

Partner groups include Samaritan’s Purse, Pray.com, Hallow, National Religious Broadcasters, and dozens of churches. Organizers say the effort reflects the enduring faith that has guided America since its founding.
