President Donald Trump said Tuesday he plans to spend more than $400 million by Election Day to support Republicans in the upcoming midterm elections.

Public records show MAGA Inc. has spent approximately $200 million so far, while The Washington Post reported that Trump-aligned super PACs reserved more than $194 million in advertising through AdImpact.

Trump also claimed that over $300 million had already gone toward rallies and voter mobilization efforts, though that figure has not been independently verified.

The spending campaign aims to help Republicans retain control of Congress and prevent a potential Democratic surge. Trump described the elections as especially important for the country’s future.

However, despite hundreds of millions of dollars being directed toward key races since Labor Day, polls have reportedly not shifted in Republicans’ favor, raising questions about the effectiveness of the spending strategy.
