President Donald J. Trump opened his Asia tour in Malaysia with a series of high-impact diplomatic and economic victories aimed at advancing the “America First” agenda.

According to a White House press release, Trump brokered the Kuala Lumpur Peace Accords between Cambodia and Thailand, ending years of military conflict and marking a rare diplomatic breakthrough in the region.

On trade, Trump secured landmark agreements with Malaysia and Cambodia to slash tariffs, eliminate barriers, and expand market access for U.S. exporters.

Additional frameworks with Thailand and Vietnam promise reciprocal tariff reductions and enhanced access for U.S. industrial and agricultural goods.

In the critical minerals sector, Trump announced multi-billion-dollar partnerships with Malaysia and Thailand to diversify global supply chains, strengthen U.S. national security, and counter unfair trade practices.

The White House described these deals as proof of President Trump’s “unmatched dealmaking ability” and a decisive step toward restoring America’s global economic leadership.
