Trump Media & Technology Group has launched a paid application programming interface (API) that offers licensed, real-time access to posts on Truth Social, targeting investors and financial firms seeking faster access to market-moving information, reported by CNBC.
According to the company, the service is designed for paying customers who want immediate access to posts from leading Truth Social accounts. Interim CEO Kevin McGurn said markets already react to content published on the platform.
Critics questioned the move, with ethics attorney Virginia Canter arguing it could create a conflict of interest because Trump's communications may influence financial markets while his family remains the company's largest shareholder. Trump Media did not immediately respond to follow-up questions, the report said.
