Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called for an immediate end to the fighting in Iran and said Turkey is ready to help broker a ceasefire between the United States, Israel, and Iran.
Speaking in Ankara, Erdogan said the region needs peace and warned of growing civilian suffering.

Erdogan described the US Israeli strikes that triggered the conflict as illegal and said Turkey would intensify diplomatic efforts until calm is restored. He said Ankara is grieving for civilians and children harmed by the fighting.
Despite criticizing Israel, Erdogan has maintained working ties with President Donald Trump. Turkey, a NATO member, shares a long border with Iran, raising concerns about regional spillover.
