Two female Secret Service Uniformed Division Officers brawled in front of former President Barack Obama’s Washington D.C. residence, according to video published Tuesday by Real Clear Politics.

The outlet originally published an audio clip from a recorded Secret Service line of one female agent requesting a supervisor’s presence “immediately before” she “whoop this girl’s ass.”

The female officer who made the call was upset that her shift replacement was late and engaged in both verbal and physical aggression toward her when she arrived at the shift, according to the RCP report.

The altercation reportedly occurred around 2:30 a.m., Wednesday, with video footage appearing to show three individuals involved in a scuffle.

It remains unclear as of Tuesday afternoon whether agents were injured or whether either of the female agents will be disciplined over the altercation.

“After reviewing the footage and listening to the audio transmission of the incident, it appears there was a grievance between the two officers,” former Secret Service agent and owner of M6 Global Defense Michael Matranga wrote in a statement to the Caller. “Based on my initial observations, one officer appeared to be the aggressor, with a third individual attempting to separate them.”

“I am confident in the leadership of the United States Secret Service at both the Agent and Uniformed Division levels, and I am certain that through a thorough investigation, disciplinary action will be taken — as it should be,” he added. “Furthermore, I do not believe DEI has anything to do with this situation, but rather that it stems from a lack of personal discipline.”

Former Secret Service Director Kimberly Chaetle previously committed to the national 30×30 pledge, which aims to ensure that women make up 30% of law enforcement recruits by 2030.

The agency released a recruitment advertisement in February that was directed by Michael Bay and aired during the 2025 Super Bowl.

Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Kristi Noem announced April 14 a new ad campaign to promote the recruitment of United States Secret Service agents.

Following two failed assassination attempts on President Donald Trump’s life in 2024, the agency’s ability to provide protection under Chaetle’s leadership came under intense scrutiny, ultimately leading to her resignation.

“We have finite resources and we are stretching those resources to their maximum right now which is going to require us to replace these assets,” Secret Service Acting Director Ronald L. Rowe Jr. said in a Sept. 20 press conference.

Rowe, in his September press conference, said the agency has had “robust hiring” in the wake of the Trump assassination attempts.

“By the time we close out the fiscal year we’re gonna hire more than 400 special agents this year,” he added.

The same month, House Speaker Mike Johnson introduced a short-term spending bill that included $231 million in additional funding for the U.S. Secret Service.
