At least 12 people were killed and over 33 injured across Kyiv overnight following a massive, coordinated Russian attack that hit at least 12 locations.
Explosions reverberated through Ukraine's capital into the early morning as air defenses attempted to intercept a barrage that combined dozens of cruise, ballistic, and hypersonic missiles alongside 168 drones.
Strikes hit the Darnytskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, and Solomianskyi districts. In Solomianskyi, a direct hit destroyed the top two floors of a 9-story residential apartment block, starting fires across multiple floors and accounting for seven of the deaths.
