Moscow’s forces pounded residential apartment blocks, offices, gas stations, data centers, and a building belonging to the National Academy of Sciences in downtown Kyiv.
The sweeping aerial assault comes on the heels of stalled diplomatic efforts at the United Nations, as the Kremlin signals a bleak outlook for peace negotiations. Ukrainian officials condemned the attacks as an intentional escalation aimed at crippling the nation's economy and wearing down public resistance.
