Four people were injured and 15 residential properties damaged after debris from two intercepted Houthi cruise missiles fell across neighborhoods in the Saudi capital, Civil Defense officials reported Wednesday.
Saudi air defense systems successfully destroyed the incoming projectiles over Riyadh. However, falling shrapnel struck several residential areas, injuring a child, a man, and two women.
Emergency response teams quickly deployed to secure the sites and assist impacted residents. The incident marks the latest escalation in cross-border missile and drone strikes targeting key urban areas across Saudi Arabia.
