Ukraine has launched its largest-ever drone offensive on Russia, sending a staggering wave of nearly 2,000 unmanned aircraft that triggered explosions, set oil infrastructure ablaze, and left at least three people dead in the Moscow region.
The unprecedented aerial barrage threatened to completely overshadow Russia’s three-day parliamentary elections—the first held since the Kremlin's full-scale invasion.
Despite widespread disruptions, air raid alerts, and accompanying cyberattacks, voting pressed forward. As the polls officially closed, early results confirmed that President Vladimir Putin’s ruling United Russia party has secured a dominant landslide victory.
