Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels have accused Saudi Arabia of launching a series of devastating airstrikes on the strategic Red Sea port of Ras Isa in Hodeidah province.

Houthi media outlets reported that coalition warplanes targeted port berths, oil facilities, and docked commercial vessels, igniting widespread fires that destroyed freight trucks and maritime equipment. Houthi health officials confirmed multiple civilian injuries from the bombardment.

The coalition’s reported offensive marks a major escalation near vital international shipping lanes, threatening to further destabilize the region and cripple crucial commercial transport along Yemen's western coast.
