President Donald Trump announced a surprising nomenclature shift during his address to the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, declaring that the United States government will officially rebrand artificial intelligence as "super intelligence".
Trump argued that the current moniker makes the revolutionary technology sound "fake", asserting that future federal documents will adopt the new term.
Alongside the push for the new terminology, Trump firmly rejected international oversight efforts and global regulatory frameworks, vowing that the U.S. will aggressively support the unhindered growth of the newly christened sector.
