U.S. President Donald Trump criticised Abdul El-Sayed, the Democrats Michigan Senator candidate as lacking substance and putting forward "socialist" policies.

Trump: “But everyone, every time this has happened, and you do that, you go through a squalor. And add the word again, filth, crime, death, destruction, embarrassment. You lose your home. You lose your apartment. And that’s where the communists will take us 100 percent. When I watch Abdul, he’s full of (cuss word).” (Cheering and Applause)
