White House Declares Signalgate Case Closed

President Trump In A Press Conference / Via Karoline Leavitt Posted To Social Media Platform X

A week after the White House's Signal chat scandal involving unsecured discussions on a U.S. military strike, there are still many unanswered questions. The incident occurred when a journalist was mistakenly included in a high-level chat about sensitive operational details.

Despite initial statements from the National Security Council promising a review, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt recently declared the matter "closed," offering little clarity on the investigation's findings. She assured that steps had been taken to prevent a recurrence, but provided no details on those actions or who was responsible for them.
