White House Fires NSC Staff After Laura Loomer Meeting

The White House has fired three National Security Council staffers following a meeting between President Trump and right wing commentator Laura Loomer. Loomer urged Trump to remove several NSC members, including Principal Deputy National Security Adviser Alex Wong, accusing them of disloyalty. While Wong was not fired immediately, speculation remains that he could be dismissed soon.

The staffers who were let go include Brian Walsh, Thomas Boodry, and David Feith. Loomer’s criticism of Wong, whom she labeled a “Never Trumper,” reportedly influenced the firings. Loomer, who remains a vocal Trump supporter, declined to disclose details of her meeting but emphasized her commitment to Trump’s agenda and national security.
