Vice President J.D. Vance weighed in on social media platform X, accusing the media of obsessing over the case to smear the administration. “The entire American media and left-wing industrial complex has decided the most important issue today is that the Trump admin deported an MS-13 gang member (and illegal alien),” he wrote. During a press conference with El Salvador President, Trump shut down CNN’s questions, and asked why the media wants to "go on and on" about this issue.
