President Donald Trump sharply criticized Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance, calling it “one of the worst, ever”. Trump, who skipped the game and watched from Florida, said the show failed to reflect American values and standards.

Posting on Truth Social, Trump objected to the Spanish-language lyrics and choreography, saying viewers could not understand the performance and calling it inappropriate for children. He also described the show as disrespectful to the country.

Bad Bunny’s performance featured Spanish-language hits, guest appearances from major pop stars, and a message emphasizing unity across the Americas. He stood alongside U.S. and Puerto Rican flags and displayed the phrase “Together we are America.”

The criticism follows earlier conservative opposition to Bad Bunny’s selection. The artist recently won a Grammy for album of the year and has publicly criticized U.S. immigration enforcement.
