With early voting numbers soaring and spending approaching $100 million, the Wisconsin Supreme Court race reached its final day of campaigning on Monday. Brad Schimel, backed by former President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk, faced off against Susan Crawford, who has support from Democrats.
Schimel, a former Republican attorney general, is vying for a seat held by retiring liberal Justice, shifting the court’s balance. Crawford, a pro-abortion rights advocate and former attorney, opposes Schimel in a race crucial to future rulings on abortion, redistricting, union rights, and voting laws in the swing state.
