The Supreme Court's ruling on the Citizenship Birthright issue was a major mistake, Vice President JD Vance said in an interview to Fox News on Tuesday.
"We respect it, but we also think that it was a major, major mistake. One of the things it might invite is people come here quite literally on a vacation, give birth and then all of a sudden, the child and the family have the full benefits of American citizenship. It is a preposterous ruling and the absurdity of that outcome suggests why the Supreme Court should have gone the other way," Vance said.
