NBCUniversal and YouTube have signed a partnership that will bring Peacock's entire streaming library to YouTube Premium subscribers in the United States beginning early next year, according to CNBC.
The report said subscribers will be able to watch Peacock content directly within YouTube without switching platforms. The offering includes NBC Sports programming such as NFL and NBA coverage, Universal Pictures films, and original Peacock and Bravo series.
The partnership also extends NBCUniversal's distribution agreement with YouTube TV and broadens advertising collaboration between the companies.
The report said the deal comes as traditional media companies seek growth amid declining cable television subscriptions and rising competition from digital platforms.
Peacock recently reached profitability for the first time and ended June with 48 million paying subscribers, while YouTube Premium has more than 125 million members globally.
