Ukraine launched long-range drone strikes on two major Russian oil refineries on Thursday, including the Slavneft-Yanos facility in the Yaroslavl region and the Bashneft-Novoil refinery in Bashkortostan, as Kyiv continued targeting Russia's energy infrastructure, reported by CNBC.
Yaroslavl Governor Mikhail Evraev said the region faced its biggest drone attack to date, with air defenses intercepting 93 drones. Falling debris ignited storage tanks at the refinery, injuring four people but causing no fatalities.
The report said Ukraine also struck Russian military patrol boats and shadow fleet vessels in response to attacks in the Black Sea. Separately, one person was killed and three injured after a Russian strike hit a foreign-flagged cargo ship carrying Ukrainian wheat, according to Odesa Governor Oleh Kiper.

It's one of Russia’s 5 largest refineries, with an annual processing capacity of about 15 million tons of crude oil (roughly 300,000 barrels per day).
