Apple will hold its next major product launch event on September 9 at its Cupertino headquarters, according to the company’s media invitation.
The event, scheduled for 10 a.m. Pacific time, carries the tagline “Surprise and shine.” Analysts expect Apple to introduce new iPhone and Apple Watch models, with speculation that the company could unveil its first foldable iPhone.
The event will mark the first major launch under incoming CEO John Ternus. Tim Cook is scheduled to step down as CEO on September 1 and become Apple’s executive chairman. Apple has already announced updated Mac Mini and Mac Studio models, which are expected to ship September 22.
