Autopsy Finds No Signs Of Violence In Death Of Epstein-Linked Modelling Scout

French prosecutors have said an autopsy found no signs of recent violence in the death of modelling scout Daniel Siad, who was publicly linked to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

According to the report, Siad, 69, was found dead at his home near Paris on July 20, although the exact cause of death has not yet been determined.

The report said the post-mortem examination revealed evidence of poor health and traces of a previous heart attack, but no injuries suggesting foul play. Toxicology and pathology tests are still underway to establish the precise cause of death.

Siad's name appeared numerous times in U.S. Department of Justice files related to Epstein. French authorities had previously investigated him as part of a wider human trafficking and tax fraud inquiry but did not find sufficient evidence to arrest or charge him.

Siad is the second person publicly linked to Epstein to die in France, following the death of modelling agent Jean-Luc Brunel in prison in 2022. Epstein himself died in a U.S. jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.
