French authorities have opened an investigation after Daniel Siad, a modeling scout linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, was found dead at his home in Colombes, west of Paris.
Prosecutors announced the discovery on Wednesday and said an inquiry is underway to determine the cause of death.
According to prosecutors, Siad was under investigation in France over allegations that he helped Epstein recruit and traffic young women for sexual abuse.
He denied the accusations and had expressed a willingness to present his version of events to investigators.
Speaking to AFP, Victorious Angels co-founder Lisa Brinkworth said the development was devastating for survivors seeking justice.
Siad's death follows those of Epstein in 2019 and former modeling agent Jean-Luc Brunel in 2022, both of whom faced sex trafficking charges.
