Four women have accused actor Jared Leto of criminal sexual conduct, alleging the incidents occurred between 2002 and 2016 when they were teenagers, according to a BBC report.

The report said the allegations are examined in the BBC documentary Jared Leto: Hollywood's Dark Secret, which features testimony from 10 women. Nine of them are sharing their accounts publicly for the first time. The BBC said it made multiple attempts to obtain a response from Leto but did not receive one.

According to the report, Leto denied separate allegations of sexual impropriety made by nine women last year.

The report also revisits previous controversies involving the Oscar-winning actor, including claims about unusual gifts he allegedly sent to co-stars during the filming of Suicide Squad. Those allegations drew widespread media attention at the time.

The BBC documentary focuses primarily on the latest accusations, which have renewed scrutiny of Leto's conduct. The allegations have not been proven in court, and Leto has previously denied misconduct.
