Two senior aides to former President Joe Biden are scheduled to testify this week in the House Oversight Committee's investigation into Biden's cognitive decline. Steve Ricchetti and Mike Donilon, both top White House advisers, are expected to appear voluntarily for interviews on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Republican-led panel has been probing whether the Biden administration attempted to conceal mental health issues from the public. Several aides previously declined to cooperate and invoked their Fifth Amendment rights when subpoenaed.

Earlier this month, Dr. Kevin O’Connor and two top staffers close to the First Lady also refused to answer questions. Other aides, like former chief of staff Ron Klain and adviser Neera Tanden, have testified that they believed Biden was fit to serve.
More interviews are scheduled in the coming weeks, including top communications and policy officials. The committee's investigation continues amid growing public scrutiny of Biden's fitness to hold office during his term.
