Biden Lets Down Asian-American Students In The Harvard Case

Supporting an anti-Trump policy is more important than supporting Asian American students.

President Biden probably won the White House because of Asian Americans, who voted for him 2:1 over Trump. Asian Americans increased their turnout rate by ten percentage points, more than any racial or ethnic group between the 2016 and 2020 U.S. presidential elections, and swung the election to Biden in the battleground states of Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, and Michigan.

How did the Biden administration reward them last week? It urged the U.S. Supreme Court to decline to hear an affirmative action case filed by Asian American applicants against Harvard. These students had previously charged that Harvard engages in "racial balancing" to prefer Blacks and Hispanics over Asian-Americans and lost in Federal court in Boston.
