Security officials moved the aircraft to an isolated area and searched the plane and its surroundings. Authorities later declared a return to routine operations after finding no suspicious evidence, suggesting the threat may have been a hoax.

The incident comes amid heightened aviation security concerns following an attempted hijacking last month involving Flydubai flight FZ1073. The aircraft made an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, after an Omani co-pilot allegedly attacked the captain and attempted to seize control. UAE Attorney-General Hamad Saif reportedly classified that incident as a terrorist act.

Delta resumed flights to Israel last month after suspending service for more than six months following the outbreak of the war with Iran. The latest bomb scare adds another security challenge as the airline works to rebuild its regional operations.
