Dilbert Creator Scott Adams Battles Same Cancer As Biden

Dilbert comic creator Scott Adams

Scott Adams, creator of the Dilbert comic strip, revealed Monday he is battling terminal metastatic prostate cancer, the same diagnosis as former President Joe Biden, and said he expects to die this summer.

“I have prostate cancer that has also spread to my bones,” Adams said during his Coffee with Scott Adams podcast. “My life expectancy is maybe this summer.” The 67-year-old said he has been suffering longer than Biden, adding, “Every day is a nightmare.”

Adams expressed sympathy for Biden, 82, whose aggressive, hormone-sensitive cancer was recently disclosed after it had spread to his bones. Adams said it's “possible” Biden only recently developed symptoms, despite speculation of a cover-up.

Adams plans to use California’s aid-in-dying law when the time comes. Known for satirizing corporate life, Adams’ Dilbert was pulled from hundreds of newspapers in 2023 after controversial comments. He has remained a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump.
