Eligible Amazon Prime members have until Monday, July 27, 2026, to submit claims under a $2.5 billion settlement resolving allegations over the company's subscription enrolment and cancellation practices.
According to the report, the settlement follows claims that consumers were misled into automatically renewing their Prime memberships.
To qualify for compensation, U.S. consumers must have enrolled in Amazon Prime or experienced difficulties cancelling their membership between June 23, 2019, and June 23, 2025.
Eligible users must also have used more than three but fewer than ten Prime benefits during any 12-month period covered by the settlement.
According to the report, approved claimants could receive payments of up to $51. Amazon will review submitted claims within 30 days before distributing settlement funds to eligible participants.
