Elon Musk has donated more than $276 million to Republican-aligned groups and his super PAC since July, making him the largest known donor in the 2026 midterm elections, according to the supplied report.
About $158 million went to the Senate Leadership Fund, which is working to preserve the Republican Senate majority. Musk also contributed $76 million to America PAC for conservative voter mobilization and $10 million to Lone Star Liberty PAC, which supports Texas Republican nominee Ken Paxton.
The donations come as Republicans seek to maintain their congressional majorities amid voter concerns over persistent high prices and the unpopular war with Iran.
Republicans retain a substantial fundraising advantage over Democrats, but the party faces the possibility of electoral losses in November’s midterm elections.
