Leaders from Europe and Canada held talks Tuesday on U.S.-led efforts to end the nearly four-year war between Russia and Ukraine, as tensions flared over disputed Russian claims of a Ukrainian drone attack.
The virtual meeting included European leaders, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, and NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said. Tusk said peace was possible but far from guaranteed.

The talks followed President Donald Trump hosting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Florida. Trump said the sides were closer than ever to peace.
Russia alleged Ukraine launched a drone attack near President Vladimir Putin’s residence.
Ukraine denied the claim, calling it an attempt to derail negotiations. Western officials warned unverified accusations could complicate ongoing peace efforts.
