Melinda French Gates said new disclosures about her ex-husband Bill Gates and his past association with Jeffrey Epstein have revived painful memories and raised questions he must answer himself.
In a preview of an interview on NPR, French Gates said she felt deep sadness after the U.S. Justice Department released millions of Epstein-related documents last week. She stressed that any unresolved issues were for Gates and others involved, not her.

The files include draft emails found in Epstein’s account that appear to reference Gates, though authorship and context remain unclear.
Gates has not been accused of wrongdoing. His spokesperson dismissed the claims as false and said the documents reflect Epstein’s frustration.
