FBI Backs India After Kashmir Terror Attack, Says Kash Patel

FBI Director Kash Patel posted a strong message of support for India on the social media platform X following the April 22 terrorist attack in Kashmir that left 26 dead. Speaking on behalf of the FBI, Patel offered condolences to the victims and vowed continued U.S. support: “The FBI sends our condolences... and will continue offering our full support to the Indian government.” He also thanked law enforcement and urged global vigilance.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that both India and Pakistan had been in conflict “for 1,500 years,” and expressed hope that they would “figure it out.” Trump said he was “very close” to both nations but did not mention their current leaders. The U.S. State Department condemned the attack and reiterated support for India.
