Federal and local authorities are intensifying efforts to identify the masked gunman responsible for a deadly shooting at Brown University that killed two students and wounded nine others.
Investigators released new surveillance videos showing the suspect wearing a mask and a dark two-tone jacket but said his face remains unclear.

The FBI described the suspect as about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a stocky build and announced a $50,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
Police are canvassing neighborhoods, reviewing private security footage, and searching snow-covered areas and dumpsters for evidence. An earlier person of interest was detained and later released, raising concerns about delays and campus security gaps.
The attack occurred during final exams inside a classroom, sparking chaos and a campus lockdown.

Authorities said the investigation is making progress, with additional FBI resources deployed. State and local officials have increased police presence at schools as a precaution.
Two students were killed, including a sophomore active in campus organizations and an 18-year-old freshman aspiring to become a neurosurgeon.
