Five 17-year-old boys were killed after their vehicle veered off a road and plunged down a steep hillside in Grand Junction, Colorado, according to local authorities.
The crash occurred late Saturday on Lookout Lane, with the Grand Junction Police Department confirming that all five occupants died.
According to the report, the victims were identified by their families as Tristan Tucker, William Simms, Tyler Kersey, Titus Gould and Braden Taylor.
Emergency crews from the Grand Junction Fire Department and Mesa County Search and Rescue recovered the victims from the steep terrain.
The deaths have deeply affected the local community, with the Mesa County Valley School District preparing counseling resources for students when classes resume.
Family friends have also established online fundraisers to help cover funeral expenses as the investigation continues.
