Tiger Woods is scheduled to appear in a Florida court Wednesday for a plea conference related to his DUI case, according to court records cited by CNN.
The 50-year-old golf star pleaded not guilty in March after his Land Rover crashed and overturned in Martin County. An arrest affidavit said Woods failed field sobriety exercises and had prescription hydrocodone pills in his possession.
He denied drinking alcohol and said he had taken prescription medication. A breath test reportedly detected no alcohol, while Woods declined a urine test.
Following the crash, Woods said he would seek treatment and focus on recovery. The incident added to a long history of vehicle-related setbacks and came as he attempted to return to competitive golf after years of injuries.
