Elon Musk said his artificial intelligence platform, Grok Imagine, will produce a full-length, "historically accurate" adaptation of Homer's The Odyssey before the end of the year, according to CNN. Musk announced the project on X and shared a three-minute AI-generated scene featuring Odysseus and the nymph Calypso.
The report said Musk has repeatedly criticized Nolan's adaptation, particularly its casting decisions. In recent posts on X, he accused the director of departing from historical authenticity and amplified criticism of the film's casting choices.
Despite the criticism, CNN reported that Nolan's movie opened strongly at the global box office, earning more than $264 million during its opening weekend, according to Comscore.
