Gulf states have issued a sharp warning to Iran, signaling a tougher stance and readiness for self-defense after repeated attacks on energy infrastructure, as reported by CNBC.

In a joint statement, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan condemned what they called Iran’s “criminal” strikes on oil and gas facilities. The statement said attacks launched from Iraqi territory by Iran-backed groups violate international law.

The countries reaffirmed their right to self-defense under the United Nations Charter, warning they may take all necessary steps to protect sovereignty and stability.

According to the report, Iran’s drone and missile attacks have damaged key infrastructure and disrupted economic activity.

Regional officials say patience is running out, with calls for consequences growing louder. The shift marks a departure from earlier neutral positions, even as Tehran sends mixed signals on diplomacy with Donald Trump’s administration.
