Hillary Clinton has accused the Trump administration of a continuing cover-up in its handling of documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. A recent document release included multiple references to Bill Clinton, detailing communications between Epstein and the former president’s staff. Bill Clinton has denied any wrongdoing.
Both Clintons are scheduled to give closed-door depositions to the House later this month after initially resisting subpoenas. Clinton also criticized Attorney General Pam Bondi’s testimony, saying she avoided direct questions.
Donald Trump has defended the administration’s handling of the files. Victims and lawmakers continue to question inconsistent redactions and alleged protection of powerful figures.
