One of the more prominent symptoms of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is that it makes the left act completely insane. President Donald Trump got elected in part on the promise that he would close the border and deport illegal immigrants, especially the millions let in during the Biden administration.
This policy quickly became the foundation on which Trump built his new administration.
Deportations started immediately, but despite the increased approval ratings on this, Democrats and the left-wing media infected with TDS chose to treat illegal immigrants with more care and concern than they do the American people. They began to single out individual deportation cases, trying to create a narrative that Trump was rounding up innocent people.
It’s not that Democrats or the media actually care about the plight of illegal immigrants, nor do they care about “due process.” It’s their hatred for Donald J. Trump that motivates them into action.
Enter illegal immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
Our media class jumped on Abrego Garcia’s case like a chicken on a June bug. They called him a “Maryland Father” who, despite breaking our laws to come into the country illegally, was an innocent victim in Trump’s “fascist” obsession with “ending democracy.”
Democrats fell over themselves to rush to El Salvador, Abrego Garcia’s home country, demanding that the Salvadoran President, Nayib Bukele, allow them access to him, and the left-wing media crying about his lack of “due process.”
Only to find themselves pictured shaking hands with an adjudicated MS-13 gang member, who was not only rounded up in a gaggle of high ranking MS-13 gang members, but has a rap sheet that includes suspected spousal abuse and an affidavit signed by his wife’s ex-husband claiming he was a gang member who was unsafe to be around his children.
New York Post reporter Jennie Taer shared a motion for a protective order that Abrego Garcia’s wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sura, filed in 2020, obtained by the outlet.
“I also have a [recording] that [he] told my ex-mother-in-law that even if he kills me, no one can do anything to him,” his wife wrote in the document she filed with the District Court of Maryland for Prince George’s County on Aug. 3, 2020.
“This is the second request and allegation of wife beating she filed while the two have been together,” Taer reported.
Man, how quickly the tables turned. Still, the precedent had been set. Illegal immigrants in the U.S. now understand that the media’s hatred of Trump gives them the avenue to have their case adjudicated in the public domain. All they needed to do was catch the media’s or Democrats’ attention.
ABC News reported drone footage from Reuters showing illegal immigrants at a Texas detention facility forming a human “SOS” distress signal. These men want the media to turn them into the next Abrego Garcia.
Americans are supposed to feel bad for the criminals who broke American laws to enter our country illegally because they are rightly being detained and sent back to their countries of origin. They are not Americans, and yet the media wants us to give them “due process” to the same degree U.S. citizens are granted.
The number of illegal immigrants Americans are forced to endure didn’t happen by mistake. Our open borders were a clear directive from elected leaders at the expense of American lives, security, and jobs. Democrats and the media class continue to take the side of these people while ignoring the heavy price levied on their fellow citizens. Not because they love illegal immigrants or care about them in any way, but because they hate Trump. The more they can make him suffer, the more they’ll fight for criminals, murders, thieves, and rapists.
