Jury Remains Deadlocked In Lindsay Clancy Murder Trial

Jury deliberations in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial entered a sixth day Thursday as concerns grew that the panel could remain deadlocked and lead to a mistrial.

Clancy, 36, a former labor and delivery nurse, is charged in the 2023 deaths of her three children: Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months. Prosecutors argue she acted intentionally, while the defense maintains that she was suffering from postpartum psychosis.

If the jury remains unable to agree, Sullivan is expected to declare a mistrial. Defense attorney Kevin Reddington has said he is prepared for a retrial as early as next week.

A mistrial would not end the case. Prosecutors would then decide whether to seek a new trial, pursue a plea agreement or dismiss the charges.
