Kuwait Reports Damage To Desalination Plants After Iranian Attack

Monday's attacks sparked fires at multiple facilities during the fourth consecutive day of Iranian strikes

Kuwaiti authorities said Iranian attacks damaged electrical power stations and water desalination facilities, forcing several power generation units to be taken offline as repairs begin.

According to Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Monday's attacks sparked fires at multiple facilities during the fourth consecutive day of Iranian strikes.

The ministry said emergency teams brought the fires under control and began assessing the damage. According to the statement, repair work is underway to restore affected infrastructure.

Several generation units were shut down as a precaution to protect equipment and maintain the stability of Kuwait's electricity and water supply systems while recovery efforts continue.
