Spain booked its place in the World Cup quarter-finals with a dramatic 1-0 victory over Portugal after Mikel Merino scored a stoppage-time winner at Dallas Stadium.
According to the report, the decisive goal came in the 91st minute after Rodri's pass found Ferran Torres, who set up Merino to finish from close range.
The report said both teams created chances in a tightly contested match, but strong defending and missed opportunities kept the score level for most of the game.
Portugal came close through Nuno Mendes, Bruno Fernandes, and Bernardo Silva, but failed to find the breakthrough.
According to the report, Spain will now face the winner of the United States-Belgium round-of-16 match as Luis de la Fuente's side continues its pursuit of the World Cup title.
